I read years ago that the hydrogen molecule was so light that it could not exist in the atmosphere; it cannot be retained by gravity and goes off into space.
The wikipedia article is a bit weird and appears to be written by professional "green" people. How can one redefine a molecule's nature according to how it is produced?
