Sorry to disagree. I am thinking the base function is more like the planetary Faraday disc motor proposed by Wal Thornhill. The initializing pulses could probably be performed by pushing a button off and on with normal human timing. If a circuit is used for initialization only slow square or sinusoidal pulses would be required. That circuit could be turned off after the coil has started. If he is using the bucking method to alter coil impedance, the so-called 'resonant frequency' could indeed be very low. Maybe even entrained to the dominant noise, 50Hz. The coil wire insulation would require ratings more than double the coil operating voltage because the two main coils would be 180 out from each other much of the time. Hmm.... Think of having a giant version of that copper tube coil around the Earth and centered at the equator... Think you could get some juice outta that coil ?
