Hi Guys,
I can't find a thread on this which surprised me given the work. When I first came across Don Talbot work I thought it was a little out there but I've nearly watched everything from last year's conference and they have a new fan.
Is anyone working on anything in this area based on some of the theories?
The two areas that I find intriguing are the Birkeland current and their touching on longitudinal transmission.

PS for the sysadmins in the group, I know. Some knobhead cant install wordpress properly

By the way I'm connected with Wal Thornhill on LinkedIn if we need clarification on anything.

Wild demonstration... and Pics .. [almost as wild as Jim's Avatar   ;D
I honestly don't understand many of the Still shots and their relevance [not a critique
more a void in my understanding].

Those Bumps on the copper in the one Vid are very strange indeed, Whats that ??

I call them "anode tufts" sometimes. I think they are places on the copper where some contamination or surface defect
causes local breakdown and ionization, before the rest of the system is at low enough pressure to glow all over. The chamber
just has residual air, no special gases, and is pumped down to 30-60 microns or so by a 2-stage vane pump (from Harbor
Freight!)

In the slideshow, there are many "electric universe" kinds of phenomena that are turning up. The picture of the
sphere in normal light shows a very Mars-like surface in miniature, from the effects of electrical discharges on the
surface of the sphere. (The sphere is a chrome-plated cast-iron ball sold as a "chinese hand exerciser" thing in pairs
with chimes inside.) The discoloration, pitting and other surface features make it look a lot like the surface of a planet.

Other images in the slideshow are showing solar photosphere and corona type effects from the sphere when it is
negatively charged and at high power.

Did you watch this one?

Wow - amazing imagery. Don't suppose you saw any of those tufts starting to form a spiral formation? One of those pix looks like almost yingyang.

I wish we could take some of the insight shown here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIFR67sckK0

And build a practical device that takes advantage of these Birkeland Currents and the Z-pinch.

I agree Matt. I have trouble buying into "a long time ago there was nothing, which exploded" theories. Is this Moray's "sea of energy" ? Where do I put my aerial?

I've never had a problem with the concept of infinity or forever.  Makes perfect sense to me the universe has always been here and will remain here forever.  Some folks are so grounded in "start" and "finish", they just can't make the mental jump.  I like the phrase: perpetually dynamic.

What we are lacking is a complete picture.  Some folks work on the electrical side, some the magnetic and others gravity.  I've seen no one with sufficient communication skills explain how it all works together.  Ying and Yang is a part, but not the whole.  Ken Wheeler makes the statement, "Nature doesn't do math."  I quite agree, she just IS.  Her dynamics are bounded simply by what she has to work with.  If we ever figure out what those things are and use them all as nature would, it's a done deal.  I like how Donald Scott says to put yourself in some position, like an ion inside of a plasma tube, then think about what your options are.  That is the right way to solve a problem, any problem, particularly free energy research.
I like Don's explanation of the current finding equilibrium and how it handles Lorentz. In Ken's model though it would mean astro bodies were points of counterspace which does my head in. If stars form along the currents due to the Z pinch I'm thinking that's where we should be looking in the Lab. Along the lines of the fusor projects maybe.

There is some "tendency" for the plasma to move when exposed to a magnetic field. This apparatus does not (yet) include the right kind of field windings or electrode orientations to fully reproduce the kinds of phenomena that Birkeland showed in his "terrella" devices though.

Here's a kind of preliminary test of the AnAtmoSphere with external magnet:

And here's one of JK's videos that I'm hosting on my channel:

We are all part of nature, we do math, therefore... nature does math, through us. Some of us, anyhow.

Thanks TK. Looks like I have my evening viewing sorted.

Hi Jim, thanks for the links. We're doing a similar fully instrumented experiment to understand what's going on. You might have seen a Youtube video about it on the Thunderbolts website.

Hi Wal,
Big fan of your work and have watched every video on the YT channel. In my spare time I work with a bunch of enthusiasts on alt energy sources. I asked last night about ppls thoughts on EU theory & application and one of the bigger brained members posted some experiments he did a couple of years ago. If you havent seen it they are worth a look.

Everyman decries immorality
It was my pleasure to meet Wal Thornhill at a presentation he did in London a few years back, for the Society for Interdisciplinary Studies.

The presentation was excellent and really got you thinking. I am a big fan  O0
