Well....
As many know I've had a " working " free energy device installed here for about 3 years. It has a modest 2KWh output but has still managed to provide us with 3.7 MWh since its installation in April 2016.
Thanks to Facebook market place I spotted some rather cheap 260 W new but slightly soiled panels for sale. I bought four of them. Luckily I had also bought a 3.2 KW inverter when I originally bought the smaller system.
Yesterday afternoon saw my son and I fitting " string 3 " with the intention of providing us with Summer hot water heating rather than burning Kerosene! My plan is to divert 1KWh into the heating system when available.

Nice Graham, here in Spain solar panels have just become free energy, up to this year we had a tax on the sun  we generally have more sun hours than most places in Europe, the socialist government has just removed this right wing tax  now hoping that with the coming general elections this month that the right-wing  , especially the extream right , do not get back into government. While I'm at it, Brexit has cost me since the vote, 1000's of Euros on the exchange rate of my pension. There are 250,000 expats living here in Spain and they are not happy bunnies atm. They came here to retire in the warmth and be able to live better than in the UK, now if they wanted or need to return they can not, the UK has become so expensive that they could not even afford to rent a home on their pension never mind buy.
