from WW I keep me eyes open in hopes something really new will pop up but it is hard to filter the noise.
When one has been around forums for a long time, one gets good at pattern recognition e.g The person claims they have a device that produces a COP>1, Overunity, or some other anomalous effect. Believing people are basically honest , many try to replicate a very sketchy set of constantly changing instructions. He never shows his device, but enjoys the role of teacher as he drops crumbs here and there with "try this or try that". When the topic reaches about 10 pages, the subject has been changed, but the claimant is still branding all new thought as part of the original claim. At 100 or so pages everyone gets tired and the thread dies, the claimant moves to another forum to sell his idea. An honest approach:A person has an idea he would like to share with others. He has no proof but has some hunch or set of calculations that might lead to the OU goal. He shares completely his idea with all in the hopes that more hands or a good critique of his idea would be helpful. As an example of an honest approach is this thread: http://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?topic=2751.msg45377;topicseen#msg45377or this one: http://www.overunityresearch.com/index.php?topic=2773.msg45380;topicseen#msg45380Here no prior claims are made, just an idea or concept to test in the hope that we may discover something new. People enjoy working on this type of idea because they are sharing in the discovery, there is no secrecy or holding back.
