anyone with Version 4G LTE at home?

Trying to figure out what I need to change from satellite internet to 4G.  Modem? Antenna?  I think I am 2 or 3 miles from nearest antenna.

I went this route years ago when Verizon first came out with their EVDO speeds and it worked pretty well for me.  Been on VDSL now for the last five years so I'm not sure how much of the technology has changed.

I switched from sat to Verizon 'MiFi' 4G months ago. For me, the connection rocks. The nearest Verizon tower is about 6 miles away.

The few times it switched gears to 3G was probably due to lightning strikes around the tower. I didn't notice the switch but I have the MiFi logging to my OpenBSD box. I saw it in the logs.

It blows the doors off of the DSL that is just outside of my reach but costs an arm and a leg.
