I just read some interesting articles on global warming and climate change:

http://www.occupycorporatism.com/home/military-experts-climate-change-will-cause-next-world-war/

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-to-solve-global-warming-its-the-energy-supply/

http://www.alternet.org/story/48089/global_warming%3A_it%27s_about_energy

Also, this one on 35000 walrus coming to shore because they have no ice to go to:

Combined with all of the WW3 talk, and pressures in Syria and Ukraine over gas pipelines, you have a giant mess that is only going to get worse.

The common thread is "energy", and what we use for energy.  A revolutionary source of energy would go far in mitigating many of our current issues even if it took decades to gradually displace our current energy methods.

This is what I think should be done in the event that a working device is built:
1. document and verify
2. upload documents (i.e. test data, vids, etc.) to the following:
    every alternative energy site
    every survival site
every electronics, physics, and science site
every other site that might help distribute the documentation
3. send copies to the following:
    every auto manufacture
    energy producer (utilities)
    government agencies in all governments
4. send it to everyone else that you can establish contact with
5. save documents to all clouds, and other document storage centers

Essentially, the documentation will have to be sent from several locations to several other locations simultaneously.  Like a manually controlled virus of information distribution.

Of course, until Number 1 occurs, the rest doesn't matter.
