Thanks for the heads-up, Chet.  As you know, I'm very interested in this approach, although I mostly used pulsed-DC and so and HHO formation going on along with heating...

Pls let us know of further developments / details of the russian expt.

That will be a completely different technology to that of Peter Daysh Davey.


Davey tuned two concentrically mounted, insulated, hemispherical bowls/bells to an octave of the frequency of his local mains electricity. Probably 50 Hz. i.e. 100hz, 200hz or 400hz.

400hz is about the same as most people's bicycle bells, and that is what he started off with.

He then connected one pole of his mains to one bowl, and the other pole to the other bowl, immersed them in water and switched on. (It would be neat to have a variac).

(It is important to remember that the bells need to be tuned when mounted, because the action of mounting them tends to alter the ringing frequency).
