Yes it's good to do and I tagged several things I saw in images but the server kept crashing as there are so many people helping with this.   Still good to try if you can get on.   O0

Had no problems myself, been fast so far  O0

A lot of misinformation regarding this crash. very strange, ringing phones and no answer makes me think they were all unconscious, sudden decompression at 35K, Carbon Monoxide injection into the aircon if that's even possible, I hope they are OK but strange it just vanished.

It seems from what I have seen on the Spanish news, that there is a strong possibility that it is a hijack and the plane is on the ground somewhere!!! What gets me is even if the transpnders were switched off, radar would still pick it up, especially in a very active military area.

Could a 777 be flown under the radar? and without arousing peoples attention below!!! it's all very strange. I think concentration should be put on possible land areas, also it would need a good strip to land on which will narrow down a little at least.

The thing with the cell phones ringing was explained (as I had thought myself it was the case) that you hear a phone ring on a cell network from the callers end as the cell network tries to locate a phone (so you won't just have dead air and will know it is working) even though on the end where the person being called is their phone may be off.  The ring will continue for the caller until the cell network determines the phone bing called is not available.   So that whole thing people were saying was somewhat misleading.

Very Strange things going on with this plane.

A highjacking with no demands made???? and If it was someone wanting to kill everyone then why fly for 7 hours.

Not seen on Radar for 7 hours, unbelievable

Maybe we are looking at this in the wrong direction, just maybe all that is wanted is the plane, another type 9/11 with a very big target, fill the plane with what type of explosive!!!!! now I'm really going off the rails :D

There were no people of any real importance that we know of on the plane, so it was not the people as such, that only leaves the plane which is a long haul plane, 7-8hrs from where it is now. What if the transponder recognition was changed to a double on a normal route, say to Parkistan! I shudder at my own thoughts :o

I think a terrorist would want as much publicity as possible, there's been a lot of tension between US, Russia & China lately, who knows.

When this plane went missing what was needed was a big story to take peoples minds off Ukraine, when you look at the BBC news site, the plane missing is bigger than the Ukrane story, the plane story also rates higher in most read stories.

Maybe the US needed a reason to go search the areas they are currently searching for a totally different reason.

Food for thought...

It certainly is Dumped, though I had more or less worked out the airline, lets face it, if it was a missile I am sure they would not have lost it off the radar. Dirty tricks department I am sure it was, for what? we will know in time if we don't know now! :(

Is there one shred of evidence for anything on that page?

Black Projects and other research efforts
which are classified under the rubric of
"national security" do not produce "evidence"
which would be available to the general public.

Until, that is, such time as someone comes forth
as a "whistleblower" or a deathbed confession.

Only those who've actually worked within such
projects and who have endured "compartmentalization"
know how effective security can be when life and
livelihood are threatened should a breach occur.

Does the U.S. have dirty hands?  Exceedingly so.
Dirty and bloody.

Apparent eyewitness sightings.

So the plot thickens...

Boeing 777 cruising speed = 560 MPH.  Max is 590 MPH.   Assuming it would be flown at a safe cruising speed and knowing the exact coordinates it took that sudden Westerly turn and knowing how long it was still pinging satellites I used Google Earth to run some lines and distances it would fly in that amount of time.   Assuming it wanted to try staying off radar by flying over the ocean and around the bottom tip of India (far enough out to avoid radar) I found it could easily have made it to the coast of Iran and a little more (assumed travel was about 3900 miles + in that span of time).   Two Iranians on board with stolen passports.   I know they said the didn't seem suspect but the Boston Marathon bombers didn't seem suspicious either even after Russia warned us about them.   So that's my theory at the moment.   I'm surprised I haven't seen any other theories based on the distance it would have flown in that amount of time.   The distance into Iran fits perfectly and it would all be over water until it reached to coast of Iran and if flying low enough likely off most radar.   Motive is certainly there also.

Malaysian plane: 20 passengers worked for ELECTRONIC WARFARE and MILITARY RADAR firm

If that's all true that could certainly thicken the plot  ;)     The news here initially only mentioned that they were an 'electronics firm' with no mention of military radar and similar tech.   It could be something behind all this or it could just be coincidence.   Would a big banking firm actually kill off a whole plane full of people just to get the rights to some new patents?   Seems like a bit of a stretch and I have no love for big banking at all.

In the end what do we believe!!! one thing is the military radar in that area is hot, and a plane just does not go off the map, even if it was a mid air explosion there would be many smaller sightings and send off alarms, we are told we live in the 21st century and nothing escapes notice ;D ;D

I have a feeling this has got out of hand and probably be swept under the carpet in the end, as an unsolved mystery :D

Then why do so many people succeed in convincing themselves of weird and improbable facts?

For instance:
What is the basis for the view that MH370 sent a message for maintenance crews that it had just landed?

The engine monitoring system on commercial
airliners is a dedicated communications link
directly from the engines on the aircraft to the
designated monitoring location.

Engine Condition Monitoring

Monitoring Systems

Quote from: Rolls Royce Web Page above
A critical aspect of the EHM system is the transfer of data
from aircraft to ground. Aircraft Communications Addressing
and Reporting System (ACARS) digital data-link systems are
used as the primary method of communication. This transmits
the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (ACMS ) reports via
a VHF radio or satellite link whilst the aircraft is in-flight.

A worldwide ground network then transfers this data to the
intended destination. The positive aspect of this system is
its robust nature and ability to distribute information worldwide.
On the other hand, the   Airplane Condition Monitoring Function
(ACMF) reports are limited to 3kB, hence the acquisition systems
need to work within this limitation. Future systems are being
deployed to increase data volumes through wireless data
transmission as the aircraft approaches the gate after landing.
This will enable more data to be analysed, but will not be as
immediate as ACARS, where data can be assessed well before
the aircraft lands again.

...in this case, probably, RR in Derby, Derbyshire, England.

Are you saying that, on this occasion, eight or so hours after take off, such a message was sent to the Rolls Royce headquarters, and they have kept quiet about this?
