While visiting at my daughter's house with the grand-kids, I always like to do experiments.  About a year ago, the kids and I built some homopolar motors.  Lots of fun.

This trip, I saw some "snake eggs" at Dollar Tree - bought a bunch and took them home and starting playing.  We ended up with some coupling (and de-coupling) between the mag-eggs which I find amusing - and so did the grand-kids and adults!

How to explain this behavior?  I really don't know yet...  But its fun to observe!

There is a chap on EnergeticForum who puts one of these eggs on top of a
###### bifilar coil connected into the regular SG circuit. I think he is jdavro or
jonnydavro or something like that. The egg spins at speed and he concludes
something or other from all this.
