Has anyone here been following the discussion at EF on
the Basic Free Energy Device?

The discussion which proceeds from about here reveals
some of the problem experimenters encounter in their
efforts to "build" Free Energy Devices.

The Confusion Factor enters into a discussion when there
is insufficient comprehension of Lead Acid Batteries and
their Electro-Chemical characteristics.

There is a sound reason for the observations regarding
a "charging Lead Acid Battery" and the fact that charging
current tapers off as it approaches full charge.  Is it because
of an "increase in the batteries' internal resistance" or is it
because of something else?

Once a "Builder" adopts a wrong explanation for an observed
characteristic the "Builder" will most often defend the wrong
explanation against all efforts to find truth
.  The Confusion Factor
is quite often a barrier to progress which can be very difficult to
overcome
.

It's turtles all the way down

Amazing! It's like the blind leading the blind over there.

Well seems like the battery shell game (which battery has the charge in it?) is also in full play.

They still going with that delusion !
I guess I should not be surprised.

The Lead Acid Battery is the simplest of all in its
construction and ingredients while at the same time
perhaps the most mysterious and amazing of all.

The Electro-Chemistry of the Lead Acid Battery is
surprisingly complex and its characteristics, including
its remarkable ability to "bounce back," are incredibly
baffling.  Those who are not familiar with its intricacies
and almost "magical" performance will be taken for a
ride into La-La Land.

The processes of Sulfation (Discharge) and De-Sulfation
(Recharge) particularly in respect to the various stages of
sulfation as it transitions from soft or amorphous newly
formed to hardened or aged crystals, account for many of
its unusual properties.

This battery has been in use for more than a hundred years
and we're still discovering things unknown about what
makes it "tick" as well as how to properly care for it to
assure its longest, most productive life.

The literature available on The Web nowadays is much
improved compared to what was available just five or six
years ago.  As more is learned about the Lead Acid Battery
this new knowledge is being made available freely to all
who are interested in learning how to properly treat their
very valuable batteries.
