Gasoline/water fogger results.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAJCFJHAAok

Thanks Brad.   O0

We've seen the " fountain " effect many times when the water level is wrong, instead of mist you get a column forming.

We also noticed the colour of the flame change, showing the presence of the Hydrocarbon.  ( Orange/Yellow ) tinge.

I suppose all that is left is to " pipe up " and keep fingers crossed?

Tomorrow would be good as I clock up another year!

Oooh, I almost forgot, what is the driving wattage of your fogger? Is it a " homespun " one?

Cheers Graham.

The fogger unit i use will still create fog in a depth of 150mm,so depth is not the issue here.

The unit (from memory) uses 46 watts, but that includes the LED and fan.

Ah,birthday tomorrow  O0
Early happy birthday to you Graham.

I have just about completed the mister/intercooler setup, and will be running that tomorrow.
I have set it up so as i can run the fogger unit into it as well  O0.

Ok,so as you all know why i have not posted any testing results for the last 2 day--weellll i have something for you all to see. I just need to get everything set up very clearly,so as you know there is no hokey pokey going on here.

You could say we have !zapped! some life into our water  ;)
I'll be back as soon as i have it set up properly.

What i do need is a high power plasma ignition circuit.
If anyone can help out there in way of a circuit or idea, that would be great  O0

Brad

Here is a replication of my basic plasma spark circuit that reacts with a fine water mist which I shared a week before Aaron even started his topic.

https://youtu.be/tRvGIUUOzSU

Cheers
Luc

ADDED I better make it clear that in both cases (regular vs plasma spark) it is the same Joule energy of 22uf @ 180vdc = 350mJ going in the coil primary. The only difference is when I engage the diode path the capacitor can also travel to the park plug. So there is no extra Energy cost to make the plasma spark, the only cost is adding the diodes.

MORE ADDED I just looked at the video and noticed the spark (in plasma mode) is not always visible by the camera but you can hear it which means the spark is much faster then the cameras 30fps video frame rate. It would be interesting to use a high frame rate camera to find out exactly how much faster the spark is in plasma mode compered to the regular HV spark.

Thanks for doing that Luc.

I am just wondering as to how it would perform at a 50Hz cycle rate for 3000rpm ?.

Well, a mechanical switching version of it wouldn't work well ;D... but I see no reason why a solid state version couldn't reach 6000rpm.
These guys designed, built and marketed many (2, 4, 6 & 8 cylinder) versions from the basic principle: http://www.aquapulser.com/performance_ignition/
Out of respect they added my name to the inventor list when they patented their circuit design even though I had nothing to do with the development... but I guess it was their way of confirming they knew I was the first to share this method.
Peter Lindemann did the same when he made the first water spark video and credited me "Based on Luc's (gotoluc) Method" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOhNtRhJ5Rw&t=3s
However, having my name on the patent came in handy when they had a dispute and separated. I was able to team up with one owner and dissolve the patent so it couldn't get out of hand and the tech stay in public domain which was my priority.
Then Aaron somehow found out and had a shit and stated publicly accusing me of thief and insisted it be re-patented with my name removed and his name in place.
None of us agreed to his bullying including the patent attorney. In the end we agreed to add his name in condition he took down the topics accusing me of fraud and so on, which he agreed to at the time. However, he has recently revived those topics even though he had agreed to take them down.
Says much about his word and character.

Anyways, hope you can do something useful with it.

Cheers

Yes,that is Aaron to a T.
Take some one else's work, make a slight modification, and then claim it as his own.

A very good example of why cautions must be taken when experimenting in the public domain.

Two useful articles I found today by David French, patent attorney, relating to LENR patents:

Mr. French passed away in December 2018.  http://www.infinite-energy.com/resources/david-french.html
