I've posted here before on nuclear energy being Tesla's "Radiant Energy" and here it is all packaged up:
https://newatlas.com/energy/nano-diamond-self-charging-batteries-ndb/

It's similar to Grumpy's "Charging Batteries and Capacitors with Radiant Electricity" but that thread is locked so I'm posting here.

If you want me to post the previous work again I can.

Interesting project. A few questions:

The battery should be rated in watt hours, not as 100 microwatts.
It should have a voltage. (Maybe all those pins give different voltages).
Why a 22 pin package? See above. Seems wasteful, expensive.
What is the weight and bulk of a set up to power a car, as they suggest?
What is the internal schematic?

It reminds me of Bruce Perreau. i wonder if it is him. He's gone very quiet on yahoogroups.

This is the company website: https://ndb.technology/

Look in the menu under Technology https://ndb.technology/nano-battery-ndb-design/

Very bold promises: https://ndb.technology/cleantech-nuclear-diamond-battery-ndb/

I am not an expert for Beta-Radiation but 5 kg of plutonium are needed to create 100 Watt in the NASA Mars rover. I would not like to have a strong Beta radiator in my cell phone. https://mars.nasa.gov/msl/spacecraft/rover/power/

But may be there are miracles out there.

While Bruce (Perreault) had info on a way to change nuclear waste into harmless material I'm sure this is not Bruce.   Unless they have borrowed on his ideas.  This company is in California - Bruce is on the East coast.

Awesome news if it pans out.   Something tells me it would be classed as a 'disruptive technology' and be buried by the PTB.   But we can hope it works out - it is really what the planet needs and it would certainly be great for all sorts of devices.  Imagine a world without power lines strung all over the place.

So ATM the power output is less than a watt?
And the power source is radioactivity - did I get this right?

If so - why the excitement?

...because it ought to be scalable.

OK - if scalable and safe (vs radiation), then it could be a winner.

That is pretty brilliant, rather than use conductive nano-carbon they used a derivative, a non-conducting nano-diamond layered substrate as a substitute for something like an expanded and directional plate quartz oscillator. So we force the radiation ie high energy particles to channel through the nano-diamond meta material not unlike a semi-fluid set of Casimir plates forcing a directional electron flow due to the internal structure of the oscillations/nano-diamond matrix and ... were good.

That's the thing about meta-materials and we can tailor the qualities and attributes of the material as required unlike naturally occurring structures. Mind you we can mimic these same internal qualities with external one's like a circuit so long as one understands the process.

Regards
