Does anyone have any additional information on this device?

It was posted on OU with only one reply: http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topic=9027.msg237055#msg237055

That's from the "WITTS Boys" so you can forget it.  Even the most ardent believers in free energy don't take anything by WITTS seriously.  If you do some reading up about them you will see.

Bob Smith mentioned "www.witts.ws" in his reply: "looks quite promising," he says.

But you need an ID and a password to see any page.  So, no registration page.  Odd.

I will need to look elsewhere to find my Witts.   :D

Is that thing mounted on a block of wood?
Is it hollered-out-n-stuft wit bat-trees?

They only want 10% of your income for one year as a member of their church and then the plans are absolutely free.   :D

I found this in my inbox from over four months ago:

Hello Brother Rosphere!

Yes we have been giving away this technology for over 100 years. Where do you think all the advanced technology that you use everyday, came from?

As part of this fundraiser for the factory, anyone who has been a faithful tither for one year or more gets a free set of plans for a Quantum Energy device and one hour consultation with one of the leading men in the field of Quantum Energy! You are free to ask any questions your heart desires.

God Blessed Us All!

We determine by our actions and attitude if we will partake or not.

Will you partake?!
I did not.

Sorry, I did not make the connection sooner.

Hmmmmmmmm. I would say make a coil lined inside that hemisphere that covers its inside. Then put a small coil in the center and pulse it till resonance. The hemi coil will catch the center coils output plus all the bouncing around may add to it. I would guess there is also a reflective plate at the base of the hemisphere to keep it all in. When I pulse a small coil, at certain frequencies it will even cause my TV to warp the image. So all that energy would now be kept inside that semi dome. TPU in a can anyone?

HAHA,

Why not claim it is a church? They have bogus ministries for everything else.

Have you heard of

Wrestling for God ministries

Cage fighting for God ministries.

Drunk Druggie Biker Criminals for God

And then we have the one I created which you can donate to at any time.

The Kosher Pig ministry. So Jewish people can eat bacon.
I feed the pigs only Kosher slop from birth, and make them were a yarmulke. It should take, RIGHT?

People think if they claim God in their mix of mishmash, then it will be successful.
I worked with a man who changed the name of his company to Faith Electric. And his card he handed out talked about the faith of a mustard seed. He had to change the name, I found out a little later, because he was ripping people off and they were suing him. Needless to say his name change didn't help him.

When people associate God with crap like this, to me it is a last ditch effort to cover up the truth about them.

As far as Bob Smith goes, his credibility with me has matched Mr. Lortie's.  It just went to ZERO.

Have a Great Day!

All you really need to do is put some fresh alkaline batteries inside the shell and have some sort of Joule Thief type of circuit or a small oscillator/transformer circuit to pump enough current through the light bulb to make it burn brightly.

The only issue is to create an impedance match between the low-voltage battery set and the light bulb which you assume requires a higher voltage.  The batteries themselves have no problem putting out the sustained relatively high power that the light bulb requires.  Of course with a higher power drain the batteries will not last too long, but you never see the light bulbs powered for more than a few tens of seconds in these types of clips anyways.

Yes, that thick ( hollow?) board is suspect as well

Yes the board is suspect too.

Any thought on how the infamous "Whipmag" spinning disk worked?

was not the Whipmag claimed to be a hoax?

Group: Guest
Yes, so my question was how was the hoax done?

I dont know but if i had to make it look real i would use two sources of compressed air just out of frame of the camera and spin it up like a turbine.

I think that's a viable way but there is big downside there.  He would have to do two audio tracks.  One with the real demo with the compressed air, and then do an audio track without compressed air and then replace the original audio track.  So I don't think that's how it was done.

My thoughts:  There was a BF electromagnet under the table and a small magnet embedded in the mass of the big spinning disk.  On the whatever spinning attempt with his hand, it "caught" and in reality he turned on a BF pulse motor and that made the disk spin up to a very high speed.  The electromagnet had real power, it may even have been driven by rectified mains power.

The CCW/CW whatever little spinning wheels that could be induced to rotate synchronously with the spinning disk was the distraction, just to generate chatter.  They were nonsense, and meant nothing.  They served their purpose though because people started speculating endlessly about what happened when they synced up in the "opposite" rotational direction.
