It's not as complicated as it may seem...
Anthony Sprader's Application for the OU Prize

I think many of us are skeptical, but it's definitely worth a look.

This bright chap needs to make some proper COP measurements!

Very interesting!

Now lets see where this one goes!

I think this one will bring my concerns about scope usage to light.

Specifically, even the most tech savvy scope users only measure the electric and assume what is going on with the magnetic.

Since he made a statement about 'knowing there is rotation by seeing a DC component' I will be watching the path this one takes. This is not something one would know or believe until they have rotated either the charge or magnetic component.

I can't help but comment that this agentgates saga is shaping up to be what many of us recognize as a familiar pattern. I truly hope it isn't, but some indicators have already revealed themselves.

It's good to see however that some folks are showing signs of restlessness, and are asking why the promises are not being kept. Granted the guy could well be tired indeed, but he seems premature in his assertions and perhaps jumped the gun in making a run for the prize so unprepared.

Solid Measurements are paramount folks! If you desire credibility, this is a sure path to receiving it. I continue to watch with hopeful interest.  :)

Totally agree with your last post P99. To me it seems rather strange to be altering the configuration and already experimenting with different set ups so soon after AG contacted Hartmann.

Surely - as Wattsup rightly posted over on the 'darkside' - it would make more sense to stick with the original working model before making any -let alone multiple - changes. It may well be that the original model had some very subtle yet critical factors built in that would make any deviation from this model in other designs simply unable to produce the same results.

It must surely be obvious to anyone that if you have a working model you must keep it, as is, and build then an identical model to confirm the results of the first before thinking about even subtle changes.  And likewise it would be prudent to only make one change at a time to a third unit.

This could start to get messy and I'm starting to get that sinking feeling!  I feel a build coming on... where's my workbench!

agentgates (Tony) has had a disagreement and/or misunderstanding with Stefan (no surprise considering Stefans' past record of screw-ups) and has decided to stop posting at OU.

As many of you know, I've recently been in contact with Tony. He's presently dealing with some personal matters, and working with a small group in a continued effort to bring his concept to a more mature state before it is formally released to the public. I've extended an open invitation to him also in case he's interested in joining us in the near future. He wants to get all his new parts, design, and documentation in order so he can complete his final prototype build for public release, so it may be some time before we see him here if he decides to drop by at all.

At any rate, I wish Tony the best of  luck working out all the matters he's currently dealing with.

PS. Marek has posted an update at OU stating that he's had no success with his replication of the ag coil.

Wow, nice place you have here.  :)

So this is where all the nice people are.

I went back and re-read that whole thread-set.

I now have to agree that the changes seemed unwarranted.

I'm not one to talk though,
I was offering a way to make a completely variable angle coil to test for other angles...

The concept was flawed I soon saw,
so I retracted my idea right away,
not many had paid any mind anyway.

Most were to busy being mean to each other...
