http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7NdxnjetSwThe video author implies a backwards Tesla coil with a large, long final output coil would collect ambient energy and step down the incoming power, through the original primary coil of the Tesla coil, to be used, then, to charge a battery through a diode. I never heard this was possible. Is the same level of tuning required? Is a huge input coil required on the first stage as the collector? Is a globe also required? The author of the video didn't say if he had a prototype. This was his theory, I presume. Does anyone agree? This is an archive thread that members can post to if they wish.
