Harold Aspden is a brilliant theoretical physicist, electrical engineer and inventor from Southampton, Hampshire, England. He has written many extremely useful papers that are invaluable to researchers that delve in the field of what mainstream science calls "alternative" energy sources and so called "zero-point" or "over-unity" or "open-system" devices.

As a result of my own research in this field I came across his work though it was difficult to locate as it seemed to lie on the internet in several only partially working sites. I spent a few days trying to purchase one of his several books to no avail and eventually I managed to track him down and I called his home, where I spoke to his wife Wendy.

Unfortunately Harold had a stroke and as a result of this can no longer pursue his work with the tenacity and vigour he did throughout his life. Due to my interest Wendy explained to me that they were hoping someone would help them to ensure Harold's work did not disappear and that his books would be available to the world at large. She invited me to come and visit them and a week or so later I had the pleasure of meeting both Wendy and Harold. Wendy served us a wonderful lunch in her sun room and I spend the day talking with them, explain my own interest in investigating the Hans Coler device under laboratory conditions with the London South Bank University where I hoped to be able to pursue a Master of Research degree in electromechanical engineering and how I had found Harold's papers to be extremely useful in terms of trying to piece together a working theory.

Wendy then asked if I could help her ensure Harold's web-sites -which due to their troubles had not been maintained- would remain active as well as his books available for purchase. Given my limited time I promised I would do what I could and I contacted my friend Ken of Kaizenet.com and he promptly explained what he would need to re-create and maintain the various web-pages scattered across the net into a once more workable repository. This site is the result of those efforts.

In the near future we also hope to re-issue Harold's books and possibly many of these papers in book format through a service like lulu.com for example.

We hope you put to use the information found on these pages for the benefit of all mankind as Harold and Wendy have allowed this information to be made available freely and in perpetuity to all. Remember that one lone genius illuminated the world (Nikola Tesla) and in fact no major corporations ever really changed the course of Human history as much as lone individuals working (often alone) towards their compulsions. We are sure Harold's work will come to be regarded as the corrective and unifying "missing link" in much of modern physics at some point in the future, perhaps when we as a race of sentient beings have learned to become a bit more evolved and less war-like, but in any case soon, because our present technology based on a fossil fuel economy is a zero-sum game with no ultimate winners.
